Join us for our new in-gallery tour program, "Local Views at PAMM," where a select group of local artists will speak about 3-5 works of art currently on view at the museum. This casual 30-minute conversation is offered on the fourth Thursday of each month. This month, artist David Rohn will lead the tour.
Unlike our traditional academic discussions, "Local Views at PAMM" gives visitors a first-hand interaction with local artists by creating conversations centered around art and the creative process.
About David Rohn
David Rohn grew up in New York City's suburbs. He studied architecture, art, and urbanism at New York University, as well as École des Beaux-Arts and Pratt Institute. After his studies, Rohn moved to Paris again in 1989 and later settled in Miami in 1992, where he began exhibiting paintings, videos, installations, and performance pieces, including a series of self-portraits derived from performance personae. Associated with Carol Jazzar Gallery for the past seven years, his work has reached museums and collections both public and private. His work has been reviewed extensively locally and occasionally at a national level.
