PAMM Teen Arts Council (PTAC) applications are now open for the 2026-2027 school year!
Are you a teen, or know a teen, interested in arts and culture? Applications for the PAMM Teen Arts Council (PTAC) are now open for all rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors during the 2026–2027 school year.
This program is comprised of 14 high school students dedicated to furthering the museum’s mission of making art accessible to all. Students in this program will be able to plan and host three yearly PAMM events, visit other cultural organizations, attend professional development workshops (art making, public speaking, resume building, college prep, etc.), create their own projects through teen committees, and even check out a Miami Art Week event. They will also meet essential members of our staff in a behind-the-scenes look at what makes a museum like ours possible.
Teens will also network and learn from artists—both local and from the museum’s collection! There are many fieldtrips to artists’ studios and teen council members interview multiple artists throughout the year. PTAC members will become experts on the art on the walls and develop their own touring practice, allowing them to share their own insights and perspectives with their peers, educators, and the broader community.
PTAC meets every Thursday, from 4–6:30pm, starting the first week of October and running through the end of the school year. Selected teens will receive community service hours and an honorary stipend. Snacks and drinks are also provided.
