Blog: Guests face off at PAMM’s Free Second Saturdays: Spots, Dots, Pips and Tiles

On July 8, 2017, guests came out for an afternoon of old school fun at PAMM’s Free Second Saturdays: Spots, Dots, Pips and Tiles. Visitors had the chance to play dominoes on the terrace, while families made art inspired by the classic game at the art-making stations.

Spots, Dots, Pips, Tiles: An Exhibition About Dominoes showcases artworks that reflect the multilayered aspects of the domino game, a tradition that is heavily practiced in the American South, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The exhibition offers a look into specific communities that grow around the domino table. With this in mind, PAMM provided a special bus service between PAMM and Little Havana’s Calle Ocho Domino Park, as a way to celebrate the unique connection the Miami community has with dominoes.
