New Realities is PAMM’s gallery for rotating commissions in augmented reality. All works are commissioned by PAMM specifically for this gallery. Using the PAMM logo as the stage, New Realities asks users to participate rather than view. Whether through games, apps, QR codes or websites; interaction is at the core of digital practice: users rather than viewers, works that emerge from unexpected places. 

Each project is contained to the stage while also providing a view into the artist’s broader practice in mixed reality.

Commissioned by PAMM, Como Semillas en el Viento is an augmented reality sculpture by Alfredo Salazar-Caro that combines 3D-scanned artifacts from the Mexica pantheon with surreal 3D-scanned portraits of immigrant workers from Central and South America.
